A strong culture of philanthropy is part of what distinguishes exceptional independent schools. At Seacrest, tuition provides the foundation for our educational program, but it does not cover the full cost of the experience we provide.
The Seacrest Annual Fund helps close that gap. Unrestricted gifts provide immediate support for the people, programs, resources, and opportunities that make a Seacrest education extraordinary.

Why The Seacrest Annual Fund?
A few of the questions families often have about philanthropic giving at an independent school.
Why doesn't tuition cover the full cost of a Seacrest education?
Tuition provides the core of Seacrest's operating revenue,
but philanthropy helps bridge the difference between tuition
income and the true cost of providing the educational
experience our families value. The Seacrest Annual Fund helps
Seacrest continue investing in exceptional faculty, programs,
resources, and opportunities while keeping tuition more
accessible.
Why does participation matter so much?
Participation reflects a community-wide belief in Seacrest's
mission. A gift at any level counts. When families, faculty,
staff, alumni, grandparents, and friends participate together,
it demonstrates shared confidence in the school and creates
meaningful collective impact.
When should I make my gift?
Gifts to The Seacrest Annual Fund are welcome throughout the
year. Giving earlier in the school year allows Seacrest to put
those resources to work immediately in support of today's
students and programs.
Is my gift to The Seacrest Annual Fund tax-deductible?
Seacrest Country Day School is a nonprofit organization, and
charitable gifts may be tax-deductible as permitted by law.
Donors should consult their tax or financial advisor regarding
their individual circumstances.
