Seacrest Enrichment Activities (SEA)
The school day doesn’t have to end at 3:30.
Seacrest Enrichment Activities (SEA) offer Lower and Middle School students a dynamic lineup of after-school programs right here on campus.
From dance and robotics to chess and tennis, students have the opportunity to explore new interests and develop their talents with engaging, supportive instructors.
Programs span a variety of areas—including sports, music, art, STEAM, and dance—and are offered Monday through Friday until 5:00 p.m. Most classes run for one hour (unless otherwise noted) and meet once per week for 12–16 weeks, depending on the day and program schedule.
SEA classes are led by Seacrest faculty and experienced professionals from our community, providing students with meaningful, hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and skill development.
Based on interest and demand, some activities may be offered multiple times throughout the year, while others are available for a limited session. Classes require a minimum of five registrations to run unless otherwise noted.

In Animal Menagerie, students will explore fascinating creatures—from ants and hermit crabs to butterflies and prehistoric triops—through creative projects, model habitats, and interactive activities. Join Assistant Athletic Director Coach Wimmer and Mrs. Spurgeon for an exciting afterschool multisport class designed to build confidence, teamwork, and foundational athletic skills! Students will rotate through fun, age-appropriate activities in volleyball, softball, and basketball, learning the basics of each sport through drills, mini-games, and skill-building challenges.
This class focuses on improving coordination, movement skills, and sportsmanship while giving students plenty of opportunities to stay active, try new sports, and have fun with friends. All levels are welcome—whether students are brand new to these sports or looking to grow their skills in a positive, supportive environment.

Yoga is defined as the union of mind and body. A yoga practice includes pausing to focus on deep breathing, mellow full-body stretches, and strength-building poses to improve flexibility, mobility, strength, and balance. Athletes will learn basic martial arts skills every class. This includes self-defense techniques. We couple this training with our quarterly life values and our age-based daily life skills like eye contact, appropriate response, and body language. Athletes will earn stripes on their belts when they display these skills. At the end of the quarter, athletes may be eligible to rank up either at Integrity Martial Arts Academy in Golden Gate or at Seacrest. There will be no additional charge for this testing.

In Tiny Textiles, students explore the colorful world of fabric and fiber through hands-on art activities designed just for little makers! A creative, empowering movement class designed for students who want to explore flow arts and aerial skills in a safe, supportive environment! Students will learn low-flow hula hooping, focusing on rhythm, coordination, balance, and expressive movement. They’ll practice beginner-friendly techniques such as on-body and off-body hooping, flow combos, and creative choreography.
Alongside hula skills, students will be introduced to beginner aerial arts, including basic poses, mounts, vocabulary, and strength-building exercises using low-height apparatuses. Safety, body awareness, and confidence are emphasized throughout, with instruction tailored to each student’s comfort level.
This class encourages self-expression, creativity, and physical fitness while giving students the chance to try two exciting movement styles they may have never experienced before—all in a fun and inclusive space.

We are excited to share that our organization has officially rebranded as Force Pickleball. Within Force Pickleball, we serve five dedicated athlete groups: Junior Force, Senior Force, Female Force, Male Force, and Special Force. Students at Seacrest Country Day School will be part of our Junior Force program.
At Force Pickleball, we are committed to delivering a fun, safe, and development-focused environment where young athletes ages 6–16 can LEARN, PLAY, and COMPETE. Our program emphasizes strong fundamentals, positive reinforcement, and skill appropriate instruction led by experienced, high-level coaches.
Thank you for considering Force Pickleball for your athlete. By enrolling, you are giving them the opportunity to build confidence, develop lifelong athletic skills, and discover a sport they can enjoy for years to come.
After school, students will report to the After School Program (ASP). Force Pickleball coaches will pick the athletes up from ASP at 3:45 PM and escort them to practice. At 4:45 PM, students will be walked to the White Gate at the front office for parent pickup.
All athletes must be picked up at the White Gate; direct pickup from the courts is not permitted.

Welcome to Pokémon: Build & Battle, where the world of Pokémon meets math, literacy, and strategic thinking! This program invites young trainers to explore the art of building powerful Pokémon trading card decks, while developing essential skills in problem-solving, mathematics, literacy, and strategic decision-making. Students will have the chance to battle each other within a fun, competitive, and supportive learning environment. In PokéMath, young trainers will explore the exciting world of Pokémon while strengthening foundational math skills in a fun and engaging way. Through hands-on activities, students will practice number recognition, counting, addition, and subtraction by calculating battle damage, tracking energy costs, and comparing Pokémon stats.
Each session will incorporate interactive math challenges, such as sorting and graphing Pokémon types, recognizing patterns in card abilities, and exploring simple probabilities in battles. Students will also create their own Pokémon by filling in blank card templates with custom stats, using number lines, tally marks, or ten-frames to determine health points, attack power, and energy costs. By constructing balanced decks and making strategic choices, students will develop problem-solving and logical reasoning skills. At the end of the program, they will apply their learning in a friendly tournament, using their custom cards and carefully built decks to test their strategies. A dynamic, hands-on art experience for students who love to create in every medium! In this all-in-one creative lab, students will explore crafting, sculpting, painting, drawing, and digital design through fun, skill-building projects. They’ll make beaded jewelry, sew plushies, weave on mini-looms, and design keychains; experiment with clay to build characters, pottery, and miniature 3D scenes; explore acrylics, watercolor, ink, and mixed-media painting; and develop drawing fundamentals through cartooning, character design, and storytelling. Students will also get an introduction to digital art tools for creating illustrations, simple animations, posters, and sticker-style graphics.
Each session encourages creativity, fine-motor development, and imaginative problem-solving while giving students the chance to design and take home unique, handmade artwork across a variety of traditional and modern art forms.

This is a combo class: ballet, tap, Jazz. We incorporate a mix of the three types of dance during class time using high-energy music. Students learn choreography to multiple dances throughout the year and get to show off their moves at recital time! Our original music separates Tippi Toes® dance classes from all the rest and we guarantee big smiles and lots of fun every single class

Cost
Unless otherwise noted activities are offered from the first full week of the semester through the second to last week of the semester, on a once-a-week basis. The cost for each class is listed with the registration and ranges from $240-$1,240.
Parents must be paid online via credit card through Seacrest Country Day School registration or directly through vendor registration.
Enrichment class fees range from $240-$1,240 per session. The fees for each class are indicated on the Enrichment Classes page. Please remember, payment is due prior to classes beginning and is non-refundable.

* Aftercare prior to class start times is included in the class price.
Enrollment
All students must be enrolled in order to attend Enrichment. Drop-ins are not permitted. Enrollment is online only and operates on a first-come-first-served basis. Programs will close as they reach their maximum number of students, and may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
Children will be able to drop a course after the first class, but there is no guarantee that they will be able to add/join another class after doing so. This will depend on overall enrollment in the classes. Class changes will not be permitted after the second class. No exceptions will be made.
Location
SEA classes take place in a variety of locations around the Seacrest campus. Class locations are denoted on the registration form.
Students will gather together to eat their packed at-home snacks before being picked up by the instructors to begin class. All classes end at 5:00 pm. At the end of class, parents can meet the instructors at the White Gate, or children can go to Aftercare.
*Please make sure to pack an enrichment snack on days your child is participating in a S.E.A. activity.
Make Up Policy
Make-ups are at the discretion of the instructor. If for circumstances beyond our control (ie. inclement weather) additional classes are canceled we will make all efforts to make-up classes. Make-up classes may be on a different day or at a different time. Refunds will not be given if we are unable to reschedule these classes.
