UPPER SCHOOL: GRADES 9-12

Students’ hair shall be clean, of a natural human color, and cut/styled in a manner that is not distracting. Hair should be kept neat so that it does not fall in one’s face. Hats may only be worn outside.

Tops:

• Solid color, striped, or traditional plaid polo or sleeved shirt from Lands’ End (or similar venue). 

  Shirts may only have the top two buttons undone, all other buttons must be fastened. 

• All tops must be long enough to be tucked into pants and must be able to stay tucked in through all ranges of movement (this does not mean they must be tucked, but the shirts must be long enough that they could be and not temporarily shortened by rolling the bottom, clipping it, or tieing the bottom into a knot).
• Seniors may wear college-themed, collared tops and/or outerwear with sleeves as a senior privilege from the start of the year. Shirts may only have the top two buttons undone, all other buttons must be fastened. No college hoodies are permitted.

Bottoms:

• Regular-fit pants or knee-length, non-athletic shorts.
• Denim pants or jeans are only permitted if one, solid color and no designs on them.
• All pants/shorts must have a zipper fly and button or snap closure at the waist. 
• All clothing must be neat, clean and in good repair. No rips, frays, unhemmed edges, etc. 
• No dresses, skirts, skorts, sweatpants, yoga pants, leggings or jeggings.

Shoes:

• Athletic/tennis shoes or more formal, closed-toe shoes with a back are required.
• Not permitted: boots, CROCS, flip flops, open-toed shoes, sandals, clogs, cleats, platform shoes, or shoes with wheels.

Outerwear: 

• Solid color or Seacrest-logo sweaters or jackets.  No hoodies permitted. 
• A collared shirt with sleeves must be worn underneath any outerwear.

Formal Wear: 

• White or light blue long-sleeve Oxford (button-down) style shirt . Shirts may only have the top two buttons undone, all other buttons must be fastened.
• Light tan or khaki long pants (No black, blue, gray or other colors). 
• Black or brown belt (optional). 
• Black or brown dress shoes that are closed-toe with a back, no athletic shoes.

P.E. Uniform: 

• Green Seacrest-logo athletic shorts that are knee-length.
• Charcoal gray Seacrest athletic P.E. shirt. 
• Athletic shoes must be worn to P.E. class. 

Swimsuits:

• On swimming and beach field trips girls may wear a one-piece bathing suit or a two-piece bathing suit with a rash guard/swim shirt over the top of their swimsuit.
• Boys may wear swim trunks with a rash guard/swim shirt .

Free Dress and Themed Days:

• Seacrest Spirit wear may be worn if the shirts are crew neck or polo style and the shorts are knee-length. 
• Shoes must be appropriate for a school setting.
• Clothing with political themes or inappropriate designs, images, and language will not be permitted. 
• Clothing and accessories on themed, spirit or festive dress days must be appropriate to the occasion and the school setting. The assessment of school administration is final. 

The school reserves the right to prohibit any item of dress or accessory that is deemed inappropriate by administration.
 

The intent of our school uniform policy is to contribute to an environment that encourages learning without distractions, provides a structure that respects individualism, and promotes a sense of community and togetherness. Purchase of your logo polo, sweatshirts/sweaters, and dress shirts must be done through Lands' End, but you may purchase other uniform items (such as bottoms) from any store. Backpacks and lunchboxes may be purchased from any store.

Please note, masks are not required for students, but if  Students choose to wear a mask, they may wear any pattern of reusable cloth masks or disposable masks as long as they are not scary or suggestive in nature.
