Arrival & Dismissal

• School begins: 8:30 a.m.
• School ends: 3:15 p.m.
   
• Students may be dropped off in carline or walked in through the front office by a guardian
   
• Early Care begins: 8:00 a.m
   
• Running Rays begins Tuesday, September 2 at 8:00 a.m. and will take place daily throughout the school year.

Afterschool & SEA

• Afterschool sign-ups will open later this summer.
   
• SEA registration will also open later this summer.

Arrival and Dismissal

• School ends: 3:00 p.m.
   
• Students may be dropped off and picked up in Middle School Carline.
   

Electives

New Middle School students will receive communication from Mrs. Timotheo, Associate Head of Middle and Upper School, in late June or early July regarding course selections for the upcoming school year.

Laptops

Middle School students have access to laptops during the school day as needed to complete coursework.

Supplies

Students should bring:

• A backpack
• A lunchbox
• An ice pack for lunch and snack

These items may be purchased from any store.

Advisory & Schedules

Each Middle School student participates in Seacrest’s signature advisory program beginning on the first day of school.

Just before school begins, families will receive an email with the name of their child’s advisor.

On the first day of school, students will spend the morning with their advisory group. During this time, they will receive their schedule, set up their binder, learn Middle School routines, meet other students, and participate in team-building activities.

In the afternoon, students will follow their full schedule, meet each teacher, and learn class expectations.

About Advisory

Advisory is designed to help students discover their interests, build confidence, and feel connected to the Middle School community.

An advisory group becomes like a family on campus. The advisor serves as an advocate, coach, mentor, and communication point person for each student. For parents, the advisor is also an important contact who understands your child as both a learner and a person.

This relationship helps ensure that each student feels known, supported, and prepared for a strong Middle School experience.
