Coach Joe Weinmann has lived in Naples for the last since 2017 and is a graduate of Tappan Zee High School in NY where he lettered in Track, Basketball and Football. Coach Joe Weinmann is a graduate of Southampton College with a Bachelor's degree in Science. He also earned his MBA from Long Island University.
Coach Weinmann has over 12+ years of experience coaching basketball at the middle school and high school level in the Temecula Valley, California area. The majority of his coaching experience has been with coaching travel/club basketball teams, playing with, and against, some of the best Lady Basketball HS players in Southern California. He also has three years experience at a large HS level in southern California, 2 years as the head Girls JV and a year as a head Girls Varsity coach at the D1 high school in Temecula, CA. After coaching at another local school for two years, Joe joined the Seacrest staff and enjoys teaching basketball because of the life lessons that can be learned and applied while playing the game. He likes being active and enjoys the variety of people he has met over the years coaching,
Joe has been married to his beautiful wife Lisa for 39 years. He has two children, CJ who is a graduate of Linfield Christian and from the University of Arizona, and Danielle, who received a basketball scholarship at Ave Maria University. Danielle received her Nursing degree from AMU and is now an RN at Advent Health in Orlando. His 3rd child, Dylan was an upcoming promising basketball star in the Temecula Valley, but passed away from athlete’s heart / HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) in November of 2012. Much of his passion for the game is inspired by Dylan.
