Young Authors Young Artists Week, affectionately known as YAYA, is a school-wide celebration of creativity; from writing to painting to theatre. Workshop sessions are scheduled throughout the week and feature professional artists, authors, and musicians. Choral and band performances, along with the Upper School Art Show, highlight the hard work and talent of Seacrest students.

In addition to writing pieces and artistic works displayed in the Lower School hallways, Library, and Arts Center, students engage in book talks, writing workshops, and other interactive creative endeavors with written and creative arts mentors. These mentors include visiting authors, illustrators and creative minds, in addition to Seacrest teachers.
