Identifying and strengthening our students’ passions is essential to engagement in their Upper School experience.
IT’S ALL ABOUT WHO YOU KNOW: PURSUE AN INTERNSHIP
Interested in the medical field? You can shadow a brain surgeon. Interested in videography? Why not make a commercial with a local marketing company? Whatever your passion, the College Counseling Office secures local internships for our students to pursue an area of interest to acquire hands-on, real-life experience and cultivate connections in our community.
BUILD YOUR OWN CLASS: DEVELOP AN INDEPENDENT STUDY
Students are asked to identify an area of passion or interest and develop an independent study. Examples of recent independent studies are film-making, a history of math, marketing, and photojournalism.
CONNECT WITH THE PROS: CAREERQUEST
CareerQuest enables our Upper School students to receive first-hand advice and information about different careers from successful professionals working in various fields.
