Guidance Counseling
School guidance and counseling are provided for the developmental acquisition of self-knowledge and skills that assist students in succeeding in every domain.
While academic success is always prioritized, recognition that social, emotional, or other health concerns may be holding a student back can also be important. We strive to nurture children in their efforts to deal with disappointment, learn how to make good decisions, and develop positive coping skills as well as effectively advocate appropriately for themselves.
School counselors collaborate and consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and staff for the benefit of students. The ultimate goal is to help each student find success at Seacrest while developing the positive habits, skills, and competencies needed to succeed in life and the collegiate level.
