Head of School Search
Seacrest Country Day School has launched a search for a Head of School to begin on July 1, 2025. Updates on the search for Seacrest Country Day School's next Head of School and opportunities for community input will be posted here throughout the search process.
The School has engaged Resource Group 175 (RG175), a consulting firm that specializes in US and international school leadership searches. RG175 is represented by consultants Tom Hudnut and Debbie Reed.
Head of School Position Statement
HOS Search Committee
The Board of Trustees has two jobs: Ensuring the financial stability of Seacrest Country Day School, and hiring/retaining the Head of School. For that reason, only voting members of the Board serve on the Search Committee. We are very fortunate that many of our Trustees are also parents of current students, parents of alumni, or alumni themselves—and we are grateful that our Search Committee reflects our Board's diversity and deep commitment to our school.
Roles, Responsibilities and Opportunities to Participate
The Board of Trustees and the Head of School Search Committee are committed to a process that is thorough, fair, inclusive and transparent. While the Board and the Search Committee have clearly defined roles and responsibilities, there will be many opportunities for the Seacrest community to be involved.
Among the first is the survey our search firm, RG 175, launched on January 18. The survey that allows teachers, staff, alumni, Upper School students, and parents and guardians to share input about our school and the search process. Please note: the survey will close on by 5 p.m. on January 22, 2024.
