An introduction to
Our annual auction known as
Gala for Treasures
Seacrest School's Gala for Treasures (the treasures of course refer to our children!) is our annual auction. All proceeds benefit the school's substantial scholarship program. Approximately 30% of our families receive need-based financial aid the total of which grows every year! Creating a community of learners based on academic excellence, not limited by financial constraints, is an integral part of the Seacrest philosophy.
Each year our parents join together with the same infectious enthusiasm that fills our children's classrooms. This wonderfully diverse group of talents and experience organize and orchestrate this worthy fund-raiser while exemplifying the very traits we hope to instill in our children. The culmination of this cooperative experience is a grand event enjoyed most richly by those who have built it.
We need hundreds of volunteers each year. The skills and talents that make the auction a success are as diverse as the families that make up Seacrest. If you possess any of the following characteristics or qualities, there is a place where you can help: Enthusiasm, faith, good handwriting, artistic talent, cooperation, a sense of humor, creativity, organizational skills, strong arms, or a belief that children deserve the opportunity that a Seacrest education will afford them. Family priorities are honored and there are places where you can be involved no matter how little time you have to spare.
