Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum is in constant motion.
At Seacrest, strong academics are a given. Our parents expect a fine education for their children and we take that very seriously. Here students learn to find, assimilate and communicate information. Not just memorize it.
We believe that when children love their school they will become lifelong learners.
Our curriculum is designed to encourage problem solving and intellectual risk taking. Our children walk away with confidence and the tools to succeed. They are prepared to become effective and vital leaders.
We believe in education using each child's learning style and natural curiosity. Our curriculum is integrated which means that everything works in relation to everything else.
A Literary Magazine created by our students in grades PK through 8 is just one example. Our Lower School students’ artistic talent and writing in the academic areas are showcased in this school-wide project. The magazine is a collection of works submitted that portray the dynamic program we offer our students. Reading these creative works on a diversity of topics from character values to poetry styles of famous writers and viewing the wide range of artistic pieces gives one a sense of the Seacrest Difference.
