How to Apply

Admission
Seacrest Country Day School

 Preschool, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten and Grade 1:

1. Parent will submit application and at the same time a $75 application fee.
2. Applicant will be screened and interviewed, and participate in a classroom play day.
3. Parent will provide the Admission Officer with current school records.
4. Parent will provide the office with medical records, including an updated, original Florida Certificate of Immunization and proof of recent physical examination.
5. Parent will provide the Admission Officer with a copy of applicant's birth certificate or other verifiable proof of birth date.

 Grade 2 through Grade 5:

1. Parent will submit application and at the same time a $75 application fee.
2. Parent will provide one recommendation form to the student’s most recent teacher.
3. Applicant will complete the writing sample portion of the application.
4. Parent will obtain and send to the Admission Officer copies of the past two years school records (including the most recent grading period), standardized test results and evaluations.
5. Parent will provide our school office with current medical records, including an updated, original Florida Certificate of Immunization and proof of recent physical examination.
6. Parent will provide the Admission Officer with a copy of applicant's birth certificate or other verifiable proof of birth date.
7. Applicant will spend a full day in class at Seacrest Country Day School and be tested and interviewed.

 Middle School through High School:

1. Parent will submit application and at the same time a $75 application fee.
2. Parent will provide two recommendation forms to the student’s most recent teachers.
3. Applicant will complete the writing sample portion of the application.
4. Parent will obtain and send to the Admission Officer copies of the past two years school records (including the most recent grading period), standardized test results and evaluations.
5. Parent will provide our school office with current medical records, including an updated, original Florida Certificate of Immunization and proof of recent physical examination.
6. Parent will provide the Admission Officer with a copy of applicant's birth certificate or other verifiable proof of birth date.
7. Applicant will spend a portion of a day in class at Seacrest Country Day School and be tested and interviewed.

THE ADMISSION COMMITTEE WILL REVIEW EACH COMPLETED APPLICATION, MEET WITH THE TEACHER(S) INVOLVED IN THE SCREENING, AND NOTIFY THE PARENT IN WRITING OF THEIR DECISION. A WAITING LIST WILL BE CREATED AFTER EACH CLASS IS FILLED.

 Need-based Financial Aid is available to qualifying families.
