Extended Day Program

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE

Seacrest is aware that busy parent schedules require drop off and pick up times that extend beyond the scheduled school day. It is for that reason that we provide a before and after care program. Students in prekindergarten - grade 8 that must arrive between 7:15 and 8:00 AM will be in Room 10 under staff supervision. There is no charge for this service. Prekindergarten - grade 2 students must be accompanied by a parent to room 10 and signed. in. Students in grades 3 - 8 should proceed to room 10 and sign in. High school students arriving before 8:00 AM should go directly to the high school village. Students who need to use the computer lab or wish to go to the library are welcome to do so at 8:00 AM.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

All students in prekindergarten - grade 8 remaining on campus beyond their dismissal time must be supervised. They must be in the after school program, study hall, computer lab or with a coach or teacher. There is a charge for students remaining in the after school program, study hall or computer lab. Students in our preschool three year old program may not attend the after school program.

First and second grade students will be attending a study hall limited to those grades and supervised by a first or second grade teacher. Third through fifth grade students will be attending a study hall supervised by a teacher from those grades. We have also added scheduled activities with the related arts teacher from 3:00 - 4:00 PM for students in the after school program. There will also be a skill based sports program three days a week for grades 3 - 5. Students who wish to remain in the computer lab to complete homework may do so until 5:00 PM.

Students remaining in the after school program at 4:00 PM. will have playground time and quiet activities to finish out the day until 5:30 PM.

AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES

There are a variety of after school enrichment activities and lessons offered throughout the school and taught by our talented staff. Within the first few weeks of the start of school, you will receive a complete list of all the classes offered, their cost, and registration materials. We recommend that you register early as these classes fill quickly.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES IN THE NAPLES AREA

Naples offers a rich and diverse variety of after school programs. Please stop by the office and select from the many brochures we have received.

Please note

For accreditation and safety reasons, only children enrolled at Seacrest School are permitted in the After School Program. Therefore, we must request that you keep pre-school age siblings with you at all times.
All parents, visitors, and guests must enter the school through the Student Services Center. For the safety of your children, never enter the campus through the playground or lunch area gates.
Please remember that ONLY individuals listed on your Emergency Information Form will be allowed to pick up your children. If any other person will be coming to collect your child, please notify the office in advance. The school will request proper identification from the individual when he or she arrives to pick up your child. These measures are for the safety of all of our children and we appreciate your cooperation.
