                    Swimming and Diving

We are pleased to announce and offcially welcome Lindsey Anderson, Head Coach of the Seacrest Aquatics Team.  Lindsey comes to us from the YMCA and Swim Florida Swimming programs where she has been a swim instructor and swim team coach since 2002, both in Naples and at Orlando’s Blanchard Park YMCA. She has been an age group coach, teaching young swimmers, as well as managing swim practices and swim meets for Swim Florida’s Summer League.

Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and is currently a third grade teacher at Parkside Elementary School. A Naples native, Lindsey graduated from Naples High School and swam competitively with Swim Florida for 10 years. She qualified for States all four years of her high school career and still holds the Naples High School records in the 500 freestyle and the 200 medley relay.

Lindsey will work closely with Jeff Gersonde, Head Diving Coach for the Seacrest Stingray divers and will be assisted by a wonderful group of volunteer coaches including Barb Uible and John O’Connell.

Afternoon practices for the Seacrest swimmers run Monday through Friday from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Golden Gate Aquatics Center.  The time and days of morning practices will be announced soon.  Stay in touch with Coach Lindsey at landerson@seacrest.org or via text to 239-293-9635.
