Three Seacrest Students Selected for Sinfonia Honor Band

Seacrest Director of Instrumental Music Rebecca Best is proud to announce three Seacrest Upper School students have been selected into the Sinfonia Honor Band. This is an elite instrumental ensemble comprised of the best student musicians from independent schools around Collier County. This honor band will form at Saint John Neumann High School on January 25th and 26th, culminating in a concert at 1 pm on Saturday.

Students selected are:

Hannah Bui, 10th grade, clarinet

Jessi Paxton, 10th grade, clarinet

Jacob Metzger, 9th grade, trombone

Rachel Lingsch, a sophomore flutist, has auditioned and been selected as a member of the Florida Flute Association Senior High Honor Flute Choir. She will participate in clinics and rehearsals Jan. 25-27 in Orlando at the annual FFA Convention.

Senior cellist Annalise Lang's Honors Performance Series rehearsals and performance in Carnegie Hall is Feb. 7-11.
