• Liz Drugan '11 joined Seacrest as our new Lower School music teacher - Check out her announcement joining Seacrest on Facebook.
• Madison Hunt '12 is chairing the 2022 Seacrest Gala | Cirque des Arts which will take place on March 19, 2022 at the Naples Jet Center - Mark your calendars to attend! Click here for more details.
• Val Gonzales '15 - entered her 3rd year as Seacrest's JV Head and Varsity Assistant coach, currently leading the Lady Rays towards a Regional Champion title and leading to State Championship. Join us for the Regional Final TOMORROW, 11/06, at 2 pm.
• Amy Bruton '20 is working as a volleyball coach with our young Seacrest volleyball players in the after school S.E.A program.
• Heidy Melendez-Torres '21 - joined us as an aftercare teacher while attending FGCU's pre-nursing program.

• Jay Jenkins '13 and Colin Kliewe '13 - Keyway Pictures - founded by Jay and Colin - has partnered with distribution company, Mutiny Pictures, and is seeing success in locking down platforms for their film 'Last of the Grads', a horror movie shot at Seacrest! Jay and Colin are excited to reveal more about where the film will be available in the coming weeks, keep your eyes on their Instagram page for the latest information.
• Victoria Brown '15 - Congratulations to Victoria who was recently published in the November issue of 'Journal Nursing 2021' for her research on pain interventions for pediatric IV insertion. Read more about her research here.
• Katey Ryan '17 - Currently attending FGCU, Katey received this year's National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Student of the Year Award. Congratulations Katey, see the Facebook post here.
• Serena Parisi '18 - We are proud of Serena for being recognized as "Gulfshore Life's Men & Women of the Year 2021" by Gulfshore Life Magazine Serena's Law.

2021-22 Alumni Events (and Seacrest Events open to Alumni):

• December 8, 2021 - Seacrest is participating in the Naples Holiday Parade, come out to see our float.
• December 11, 2021 at 10am - Alumni Baseball Game in Memory of Jeffrey Ortiz '12 + Alumni Volleyball Game - join us for a morning of alumni and Seacrest fun as we play a game of baseball in memory of Jeffrey and join for a round of volleyball with our alumni and current Lady Rays. Proceeds from the event to benefit the Jeffrey Ortiz '12 Scholarship Fund.
• 10-Year Reunion of the Class of 2011 - we are working on this with the Class of 2011. Stay tuned for more details coming soon. 
• February 5, 2022 at 10:30am -  Science Saturday on campus! Return to campus for your favorite science event! 
• February 17, 2020 at 8am - Grandparents and Mentors Day - are you mentoring or working with Seacrest students? Then join us for this day of celebrating and thanking you for giving back your time, expertise and love to our students. Reach out to Heather Moore for more info at hmoore@seacrest.org.
• March 19, 2022 at 6pm - Seacrest Gala | Cirque des Arts - join us for the 34th annual gala at the Naples Jet Center. Last year we had over 25 alumni attend! Let's meet there again this year to have fun and support the school. More info, tickets and sponsorships available at seacrest.org/gala.
• March 29, 2022 at 8am - CareerQuest - join the alumni panel for CareerQuest and share about your passion, job, career. If interested, please reach out to Elizabeth Frosini, College Counselor at efrosini@seacrest.org.
• April/May 2022 (date TBD) -  Alumni Week of Engagement - Join us for a week of alumni engagement and giving as you show your Stingray pride and support. We are so excited to be welcoming back so many of our alumni who are leading lives of significance while giving back to their alma mater! Thank you!

"I will be graduated from Franklin & Marshall College Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Sociology after having served as the president of 3 separate clubs as well as having served as the Chapter President of the Iota Psi chapter of my sorority, Alpha Xi Delta. I will be continuing my education at Boston College working towards my Master's in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Affairs. At the same time I will also be working at MIT as their Student Conduct Educator. Without Seacrest showing me that leadership takes many forms and that sometimes the quietest people can make the best leaders, I would not have accomplished as much as I did while at F&M. Seacrest showed me that not everyone has just one passion. My interests span from languages, to music, to social sciences and Seacrest taught me that there is a way to pursue them all. Seacrest also taught me that there is a way to balance everything you want to do. A busy schedule does not mean I am spread too thin, in fact it means that I am involved and well-rounded. I am thankful to all the lessons Seacrest taught me both in and out of the classroom. "In my years of school leading up to attending Seacrest I was tortured by my peers physically and mentally. I had just about given up on the world and everything I ever loved. Until the day I met some people playing baseball over summer who attended Seacrest and I immediately could tell that they were different. They didn’t judge me they genuinely wanted to get to know me. This was something I hadn’t felt in a long time. The upcoming school year I attended Seacrest for the first time as a junior and began to regain confidence in myself I even was able to take baseball to the next level to play in college thanks to my teammates who supported me and wanted to see me get better. I went from being cut from my high school team and being told “you’ll never be big enough or good enough to play baseball in high school” to playing beyond all because the people around me at Seacrest from students to teachers showed me that somebody, somewhere actually cared about me for once. "Congratulations to my Kindergarten Seniors...Daniel, Ryan, Sydney, Tyler, Michael and Carolina! When I retired in 2017, I wondered what does one do with all the knowledge and experience one acquires during the past forty years of teaching? Though there has been little time to relax and reflect as Irma occurred two months into retirement, it still perplexed me. The past two months of staying home actually helped me realize the answer as I started cleaning out closets. I discovered so many memories (and a few gift cards) that I had tucked away. Photos, thank you cards and Christmas cards were filled with so many thoughtful and kind words that I realized I had left my legacy with all of my wonderful students, their families and dear faculty members. I read notes that were filled with such heartfelt love and memories that I had never actually forgotten but had tucked away. I now know my legacy has been left and shaped with all of you. It might be something small, perhaps something that changed who you are. I hope those memories are still in your hearts and last you a lifetime, as they are also forever in mine!
